Charleville Radio takes over HF marine radio services for New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria.

Charleville Radio (callsign VIC) has replaced the previous Coast Radio Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney stations.

Charleville Radio provides voice watchkeeping services on 4125, 6215, 8291 and 12290 kHz.

The 12 MHz service is operated from 0700-1900 local SA time.

Charleville Radio is operated by Kordia Australia and uses transmitter and receiver sites near Charleville, Queensland.  These sites are remotely controlled from the Kordia Control Centre in Canberra - co-located with The Australian Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC).

As Kordia also provides GMDSS services (DSC and subsequent voice and NBDP) from their Wiluna and Charleville stations for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, Kordia's new services are provided with AMSA's agreement.
